In additional to Google ratings, our platform also asks the buyers to review their experience with the seller and if they were relevant and helpful to their requirements. The higher the FMI Quality score a seller has the more likely they are to win leads in future, as the auction takes their quality score into account.
For instance, If two sellers bid the same amount on the same auction, the seller with the higher quality score will win the auction. Sellers with 5 Star FMI quality scores may also not need to bid as highly to win the lead over a 3 star FMI seller. This helps us to ensure that we are providing quality supplier’s details to buyers and will help good business’s who provide quality goods and services.

  • Sellers: The platform is free for sellers and services to sign up. You only pay for the leads which you win in the auction. We operate using a credit system. You can buy credits on your account and use these to bid.Credits can be redeemed at any time.

Seller

The auction is a ‘Second Price Auction’ similar to popular PPC auctions. This means that you only pay just enough to beat the bidder below you. This provides maximum value for sellers and ensures that you can bid higher maximum bids if you want to win the leads, without worrying that you are paying lots more than you needed to.
We operate using credits which can be loaded onto your system. 1 FMI Credit = £1 system. You can buy credits on your account and use these to bid. Credits can be redeemed at any time.

Simply sign up free of charge and then post your requirements. You can post as much or as little detail as you have, including a description, a URL to a product/ webpage or upload a photo of what you are looking for. The more detail the better. Only the 2 leading local sellers or tradespeople will contact you.

3. How do I contact a seller or professional?

You can contact sellers and professionals directly through our website and invite them to bid on your post. Simply go to their profile and click on the 'invite' button. You can invite them to take a look at your post, but they will only receive your contact details if they bid on your post and win them in the auction. Your post will also be shown to all other local sellers in this category who may be able to offer a better option or quote for the product or service.

4. How do I leave a review for a service or product?

After receiving contact from the seller or tradesperson you will be asked to rate (out of 5) the seller's relevance to your requirement and their service. This feedback contributes to the seller's FMI quality score. To build trust and credibility, we collect feedback from each buyer regarding how well their needs were met.

5. What should I do if I encounter a problem with a bid or post?

If you encounter any issues, please contact our customer support team through the 'Help' section. We are here to assist you and resolve any problems promptly.

6. How do I bid on a post?

In order to bid on a post, once your seller account is created you can load credits onto your account and bid to win the contact details of the lead. A maximum of 2 sellers can win the contact details. The overall winner will get the details immediately when the auction is finished and then the 2nd places bidder will then receive them 24 hours later.

7. What happens if my bid doesn’t win?

If your bid is unsuccessful then you do not pay and the credits will not be removed from your account. In order to win the leads your bid must be in the top 2 bids. This ensures relevance for the buyer as only sellers or tradespeople who think they can be the most helpful will get in touch.

8. Can I edit my profile information?

Yes, you can edit your profile information at any time by going to your account settings and making the necessary changes.
